She was born in a small town south of Stockholm, Sweden in 1991. From the moment Matilda was born, fashion has been such an integral part of her life. It started with her great grandmother and grandmother both being fashion designers. 

 

Matilda began her modeling career with a local beauty pageant senior year in high school. She also got the help from her mother with the start of her portfolio, she being a photographer and a wonderful teacher. As Matilda has always loved fashion, modeling has become her ultimate goal and dream. As she has continually worked on her portfolio, her most recent work has begun to garner her most attention. She has done many amazing things from walking the runway for L.A. fashion week, being featured in a car commercial for Dodge Automotive,  as well as being featured in a music video with The Game, Lil Wayne, Jeremih and Fabulous for their new single “All That Lady.” She was also highlighted in a second music video for Chris Brown ft E-40 "Episode."

 

Recently Matilda has been working with fashion photographers for magazine editorials as well as shooting for clothing lines and campaigns for brand new collections. Matilda has worked with brands such as Miss Ord Apparel, ChicMe, Tia Nova, LoveBootyMust, and Vibe Apparel while being a brand ambassador for Hot Miami Shades, Rox Jewelry and No One Down. Additionally Matilda has been featured in fashion magazines such as Fashion Faces Magazine, Vogue Italia, CIE Fashion Magazine, Wedding Ideas and lifestyle magazines like Manic Magazine, No Cover Magazine and Hollywood Magic Image. Matilda landed the cover of One West Magazine in 2014 and took 11th place in Maxim's Finest Competition in 2017. 

 

Matilda has worked with some of the most renowned and well known industry professionals all over Southern California, which has elevated her already stunning portfolio, to new heights. Top celebrity and fashion photographers such as Bill Jones and Orlando Perez have been a part of her growing portfolio in addition to Alexandria Bailey, who has worked with some of the top models from the popular TV show, America’s Next Top Model. In October 2011, she was signed with One Source Talent in Beverly Hills as well as with MyElite Model Talent Management in 2012.  Poised for success; Matilda always strives to push the limits of both her career and herself. She explores and embraces the new opportunities awaiting her just around the corner as she looks to excel in her future as Americas Next Sensation!
